In Natasha's St Tropez footsteps: Liam Neeson and his new love Freya

It's already a place with some special memories for Liam Neeson.

The actor was a regular visitor to Club 55 in St Tropez with his wife Natasha Richardson before her death in a skiing accident in 2009.

Now he has taken his new girlfriend Freya St Johnston to the beautiful French Riviera venue too.


The pair were pictured sharing a tender kiss, just as Neeson did with actress Miss Richardson on one of their visits in 2006.

This week Neeson, 59, and Miss St Johnston, 37, arrived at the exclusive Cote D’Azur beach club arm-in-arm before enjoying a two-hour lunch with friends.

Afterwards, they relaxed together on the Club’s loungers for three hours, kissing and cuddling as they enjoyed the sunshine.

One onlooker told the Daily Mail: ‘They were obviously very happy together, kissing each other tenderly. It was very touching. They appeared very taken with each other.’

One onlooker told the Daily Mail: ‘They were obviously very happy together, kissing each other tenderly.

The Schindler’s List star was first seen out with Miss St Johnston, a PR executive, in September when they dined at London restaurant Nobu.

They are believed to have met through friends in the film industry.

At the time, both refused to discuss their fledgling romance.

They were then seen walking through a London park in March, a day after the second anniversary of Miss Richardson’s death.

But this is the first time the couple have given a public display of their affection.

Neeson lives with his sons by Miss Richardson, Micheal, 16, and Daniel, 15, in New York, while Miss Johnston, herself a mother-of-two, lives in London.
