Pregnant women often have to put up with perfect strangers approaching them on the street for a pat of their baby bump.

But Myleene Klass didn't seem to mind last night, when friend Dermot O'Leary couldn't resist doing the same when they ran into each other at the Glamour magazine 10th birthday dinner at Claridge's last night.

And judging by their faces, perhaps Myleene's little girl, due this month, was in the party mood and gave the X Factor host a good kick.

Myleene, 32, dressed her bump in an eye-catching purple gown for the party, with flowing hair and bright red lips.

Alexandra Burke and Fearne Cotton also attended, and it appeared to be quite the knees-up.

Luckily Myleene's pregnancy prevented her from having a tipple, as she was forced to rise at the crack of dawn this morning to head to Paris to interview Vogue Japan editor Anna Dello Russo.

She tweeted at 6 o'clock: 'Ooh lala. Heading for Paris. Still have my party hair from last night. A bientot. Bisous.'

The TV presenter also wrote to the magazine's Editor In Chief Jo Elvin, who was spotted having a gossip with her A-list guests at the soiree: 'Girl you seriously throw a great party! Congrats again.'

While Myleene stole the spotlight in her purple gown, Alexandra and Fearne both went for black dresses.

But their dark colour choice didn't make for subdued outfits - both women stood out from the crowd.

Celebrity Juice star Fearne turned heads in a dress that was made of hundreds of bows. The 29-year-old teamed the unusual dress with nude platform heels and heavy cat eyeliner.

Alexandra was racy in a peekaboo neckline minidress with lace arms and décolletage, including matching inserts and a full length back zip.


Feeling clucky? Dermot O'Leary couldn't help fawning over Myleene's bump, but girlfriend Dee Koppang didn't seem so sure as they arrived at the party, to honour 10 years of the magazine


TV and radio star Dermot has previously said that he and girlfriend Dee Koppang are too busy for children, but he certainly looked a little clucky as he fawned over Myleene's baby bump last night.

Myleene is expecting another girl to join three-year-old Ava with partner Graham Quinn later this month.
