Day 144 - 145: Training

Day 144: Emailed Stan Kirsch Studios to inquire about their upcoming audition bootcamp held on Saturdays in June.

Day 145: Kristyn, the Operations Manager and wife of Stan Kirsch called me to give me all the particulars of the Audition Bootcamp. The class will be 5 hours long and will cover drama, comedy {single-cam and multi-cam} and on-camera. Since I'd already been given the greenlight from Stephen to enroll I told her to count me in. She suggested I do another consult with Stan prior to the class so that we could get reacquainted with each other since my original consult with him was over a year and a half ago so we've scheduled it for Wednesday. Now normally I wouldn't enroll in a class that I haven't audited since I've already made that mistake once before, but since I actually hired Stan to coach me on an audition a long time ago for Twinkie Byrd, I know that he speaks my language and I speak his. 

Day 143: Audition

Day 143: Audition for America's Most Wanted. I was brought in by Billy DaMota, a HUGE supporter of actors and ran into quite a few familiar faces in the lobby. I must admit I was pretty self-conscious for this one because I had to have an emergency root canal done by a specialist a few hours before. I wanted to reschedule the dentist appointment but I was getting on a plane to go out of town for 4 days so that wasn't an option. I also couldn't reschedule the audition because they were bringing people in in pairs and they weren't accepting tape so it was now or never. I made the best of it but I'm so glad they didn't put us on tape because part of my mouth was still quite numb. When it was over, however, Billy said I did an awesome job and told me to kiss the baby for him. All in all I'm glad I went but I hope to never be in that position again so I'm taking care of all of my dental needs over the next 2 months... all $2800 worth of them, ugh. 

Day 140 - 142: Theatre, Film & More

Day 140: Saw Gypsy performed by members of West Coast Ensemble Theatre. I wasn't familiar with this musical before, though I did know Bette Midler was in the movie, so the story was completely new to me. I went with Stephen and we both had a nice time. The entire cast did a great job but the standout to me was Stephanie Wall who plays Louise.

Day 141: Watched Blue Valentine- a heartbreakingly beautiful movie about the beginning and end of a relationship.

Day 142: Had our first production meeting with the main crew for the documentary. 4 hours later we had to call it a night after a successful brainstorming session. We'll probably hold these once a month.

Miss South Africa 2009, Tatum Keshwar

Tatum Keshwar won the Miss South Africa title at a glittering gala even at Sun City, north of Johannesburg, South Africa on Monday, 15 Decemeber 2008. Tatum is 24 and has a Psychology Degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. She lives with her family in Durban and loves spending time in Florida Road, Morningside because there are so many great places to eat, catch up with friends and enjoy the sunshine.

Her hobbies and interests include yoga, modelling, reading, going to the gym and the most outrageous thing she’s ever done is para-sailing and abseiling. Tatum won the title Model of the Year in 2005 and believes she has the values and qualities needed to become Miss South Africa 2008. She admires Jo-Ann Strauss most of all the former Miss South Africas for her inspiring and ongoing success after having won the title of Miss South Africa.

While most passengers tried to get through the invasive security checkpoints at Los Angles LAX as quickly as possible, Paris took time out to strike several poses yesterday.

With her hair immaculately coiffed into long waves, she put a fashionable foot forward wearing grey trousers, a white blouse and grey pumps.


At one point she smiled and waved to the assembled photographers, then turned around, put her hands on her hips and struck another pose.

The heiress was on her way to the East Coast to visit with relatives.

After she arrived in New York, she tweeted: 'On my way to The Hamptons to spend a relaxing Memorial Day Weekend with my family.

She took to Twitter to let her fans know about experience: 'Backstage with @JayLeno. Love him! He is so funny and sweet! Such a cool guy! :)'

The two chatted about her new series and their mutual fondness of fancy cars.

Coleen Rooney plays supportive wife as husband Wayne scores Man Utd's only goal as they lose to Barca.

She'd travelled all the way from Liverpool to London to watch Barcelona beat Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League final.

But things weren't so bad for Coleen Rooney as she watched her husband Wayne score the only goal at Wembley Stadium last night.

The WAG, 25, left her son Kai in the care of her parents as she turned the football match in a girls' day out with some of her closest friends.

Mrs Rooney, her husband's cousin Claire Rooney and their pal Amy Louise Wilkinson travelled on a Virgin First Class train from Liverpool to Euston to the big game.

Clearly in good spirits ahead of the game, the trio quaffed a bottle of Veuce Cliquot champagne.

At the Royal Wedding they looked immaculate, but as Prince Harry and his cousin Princess Eugenie tumbled out of London’s trendy Public nightclub early yesterday, they were distinctly dishevelled.

Harry, dressed in jeans and a blue open-neck shirt with a grey T-shirt underneath, appeared to have drink stains on his right sleeve.

Eugenie, meanwhile, wore a frilly blue mini-dress – with stains on the front – and a black leather jacket with matching ankle boots.

Harry has rarely been seen out in London since the Royal Wedding, but he spent several hours at the club in Chelsea on Friday night.

ITV offer £2m to woo Cheryl Cole back to the X Factor UK

'Deeply humiliated': Cheryl has reportedly begged Simon Cowell to release a face-saving statement


Cheryl Cole has been told the door is still open for her to return to the British X Factor – but she must make her decision today.

ITV is said to be willing to double the singer’s usual £1.2 million pay packet if she comes back for the next series, but she is said to be unsure of taking the offer given her humiliation on the American version.

Cheryl is understood to be begging Simon Cowell to issue a statement saying she wasn’t sacked from the Fox show – but left because she had a ‘bigger and better’ offer to return home.

Fox has yet to make an official announcement about Cheryl, but one source said: ‘Simon is working on a statement which will essentially deny Cheryl was sacked, but instead say she was offered a better opportunity in the UK.

A source close to the singer added: ‘Cheryl is deeply humiliated and she wants Simon to make it clear that she wasn’t sacked, but was needed back in Britain.
'It’s a face-saving measure and it’s very important to Cheryl.’

The Girls Aloud singer, who has been holed up in her London flat with her mother Joan since she returned from Los Angeles, is said to be ‘close to breaking point’ over her treatment in the States.

'She is talking about taking some time out, but Simon is trying to convince her to sign up to prove she can do this job.

‘He’s told her she can come back to America and work on her image next year and that this is by no means the end of her in the States.’

Another source said: ‘They have offered to double Cheryl’s pay packet in the UK and Simon is trying to convince her to take this opportunity.

‘The truth is that Cheryl is in a major sulk and she may turn the offer down.

‘At the moment it’s a possibility, no one knows what she’s going to do, but the feeling is that if she turns down X Factor in the UK it really would be career suicide.’

The glamour model made sure she hogged the limelight from her Only Way Is Essex pals at the Ocean Club as she put on a public display of affection with boyfriend Leandro Penna.

Wearing a tiny aquamarine bikini, the 33-year-old made sure she garnered plenty of attention from the hundreds of revellers as she recreated the iconic lift from Dirty Dancing.

As she rushed into the pool - still wearing her striped maxi dress, her Argentine model boyfriend, 25, lifted her above his head, before she went crashing head first into the pool.

Fowler showed off her surgically-enhanced cleavage in a New Look padded sequinned bikini top and pink Leg Avenue bottoms.

The gang were at a party organised by Sintillate - who were also hosting a night-time event at the Tibu club, where Pope was DJing later that night.
