SANTO DOMINGO: Ada Aimee de la Cruz, a enchanting professional model 23 year-old, was crowned Miss Dominican Republic 2009 during the pageant held in Santo Domingo on 17th May 2009.
The 183 cm new beauty queen will represent Dominican Republic at Miss Universe 2009 pageant.
Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.
